Rakel Wärmländer began her acting career at age nine in Stockholm's Dramaten theater. She studied theater at The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York and graduated from Teaterhögskolan i Malmö in 2006. Primarily working in television and film, she appeared in shows like 'Skuggornas hus', 'Cleo', 'Skilda världar', 'Spung', and films such as 'Se upp för dårarna', 'Hipphipp!', and 'Okänd avsändare'. She played Pippi Longstocking on stage and voiced the character Fio in 'Porco Rosso'. Notable roles include leading parts in 'Små citroner gula' (2013) and 'En underbar jävla jul' (2015). Daughter of Tom Zacharias and Dorotea Wärmländer, she has two daughters with actor Lars Bringås.
