Sidonie, a young air hostess, decides to take her 15-year-old daughter Lolo on a journey to Somme Bay, Sidonie's native region, in search of potential fathers for Lolo. Sidonie aims to steal a hair from each of the five possible candidates - a melancholic mechanic, an artist/painter jaded playboy, a former local football champion, a nightclub owner, and a womanizing country doctor - to carry out a DNA paternity test. Throughout their trip, they encounter each man, opening up memories of Sidonie's past and leading to five unexpected encounters.
