Storia
Catherine leaves her abusive husband and changes her identity to Sophie in order to start a new life with her teenage son. They move to a new city where she finds employment but struggles with their living conditions. Catherine/Sophie meets a trucker who is drawn to her, but she remains guarded due to the lingering fear of her violent husband. Throughout the film, Sophie learns to confront and cope with the specter of her past.
