Coroner Paul Herzfeld discovers a capsule in the head of a severely mutilated corpse he's examining. Inside the capsule is a phone number and the name of his daughter. As he investigates further, he realizes that his daughter has been kidnapped, and he must solve the mystery behind the corpse to save her.
