Riassunto
Angels and Insects (1995) is a drama film directed by Philip Haas, based on short stories 'Moths' and 'Nymphs and Shepherds' by A.S. Byatt. The movie explores themes of class society, forbidden love, and the darker side of Victorian England through the eyes of William Adamson, a young scientist who becomes entwined in the lives of the wealthy Alabaster family. Despite its intriguing premise and promising cast led by Mark Rylance and Kris Kristofferson, the film received mixed reviews due to its slow pacing and lack of resolution.
