Storia
Beatriz begins when young Juan witnesses Lorenzo el Quinto's gang assaulting a mysterious monk in the woods. The monk escapes and takes refuge at Doña Carlota's estate, where Beatriz lives with her mother. Basilisa, their servant, conjures Satan to cure her son's irreversible illness but must transfer the evil to an innocent soul. She chooses Beatriz. Beatriz becomes possessed, and everyone blames the monk for it.
