Matty, a film star tired of Hollywood life, moves to Miami and proposes to his girlfriend Annie. She declines, revealing she had an abortion at Matty's request. Devastated by this loss, Matty goes on a wild night with friend Micky, meeting another waitress named Annie during their escapade.
