Riassunto
In Josephine Decker's debut feature 'Butter on the Latch' (2013), two friends, Sarah and Isolde, bond over their shared interest in Balkan folk music and dance. However, their peaceful camp outing takes a dark turn when Sarah's romantic pursuit of another camper causes friction between them. The film explores themes of female friendship, jealousy, and the blurred line between reality and fantasy, culminating in a psychologically unsettling conclusion.
