Storia
The movie 'Dark City' begins with John Murdoch (Rufus Sewell) awakening in a bathtub with no memory of his past. He soon learns that he's wanted for a series of brutal murders and has a wife, Emma (Jennifer Connelly), who seems to know more than she lets on. As Murdoch tries to uncover the truth about his identity, he finds himself pursued by both the police, led by Inspector Frank Bumstead (William Hurt), and mysterious beings with telekinetic powers known as the Strangers. The city they inhabit is a labyrinthine place where the landscape changes every night at midnight, and it's later revealed that Murdoch has been involved in an experiment to create a new reality by manipulating human memories.
Riassunto

The film explores themes of memory manipulation, identity crisis, and the struggle against powerful forces that control society. It is a complex and suspenseful tale that combines elements of mystery, horror, and cyberpunk.
