Storia
Cécile, a single mother, contrives to meet Gilquin, the married father of a classmate of her nearly-adolescent son. An affair ensues. Isabelle, approaching middle age with two children, discovers she's pregnant, goes into a funk, and arranges for a younger woman to seduce her husband. Adeline is distraught at her ex-lover's plan to leave France. The three women are colleagues at a radiology clinic. They come to each other's aid, but each must decide on her own what course to take: Cécile with Gilquin, Isabelle with her husband, and Adeline with her solitude.
Riassunto
At a bustling radiology clinic, three colleagues find themselves entangled in intricate webs of desire and despair. Cécile, a single mother, engineers a meeting with Gilquin, the married father of her son's classmate, igniting a clandestine affair. Meanwhile, Isabelle, nearing middle age with two children, grapples with an unplanned pregnancy and seeks solace in a misguided plot to have her husband seduced by a younger woman. Adeline, meanwhile, is devastated by her former lover's impending departure from France. As their lives intertwine, the women support each other, yet ultimately, Cécile must choose her path with Gilquin, Isabelle with her marriage, and Adeline with her solitary journey forward.
