Trama
Commercial airline pilot Whip Whitaker is battling alcohol and drug addiction when his plane experiences a catastrophic mechanical malfunction during a flight from Orlando to Atlanta. With no other option, Whip executes an extraordinary crash landing that saves almost all on board but results in six fatalities. After waking up in the hospital, Whip vows to get sober, but his struggle with addiction becomes public knowledge as investigators discover he was intoxicated at the time of the crash. Facing potential criminal charges and desperate to protect his career and reputation, Whip denies his substance abuse problems while trying to maintain his composure during the investigation.
