Otto Wall's life takes an unexpected turn when his wife informs him of her plans to divorce him during a counseling session. Shocked and unprepared, Otto struggles to come to terms with the sudden change in his marital status. In an attempt to cope with his newfound singlehood, Otto engages in several one-night stands while also trying to maintain a connection with his daughter.
