Storia
Douglas Elmore, an alcoholic writer and caretaker haunted by visions of his dead wife, finds himself living in a supernatural nightmare when tenants start turning up dead in his brownstone apartment building. Suspicion falls on Karna, a sexually alluring homeless prostitute who inhabits the basement during the day but prowls the city at night. As Douglas's obsession with Karna grows, he must also evade becoming the prime suspect in the murders. To save himself and his newfound interest, Douglas must unravel the mystery of the evil residing in the Hagstone building and confront his own troubled past.
