Storia
Christina, a wealthy Greek-Australian school teacher engaged to a lawyer, begins teaching at an inner-city working-class school where she finds her ideas challenged by the students. While helping a group of non-anglo students form a soccer club against the racist PE teacher's support for Australian Rules Football, Christina falls in love with 17-year-old aspiring soccer player Nick.
