Set in Venice during 1764, 'Il Boemo' follows Josef, a young man aspiring to become an opera composer but struggling to make his mark in a city filled with established talent. Initially living a precarious life, Josef finds work as a violinist and eventually catches the attention of a rich young woman who introduces him to a hedonistic lifestyle free from religious intolerance.
