Storia
Toivo, an unemployed typesetter with exceptionally powerful blood that enhances athletic performance, joins the Finnish national ski team in the 1980s as a human 'blood-tank'. He works closely with Aino, a talented skier and public figure known as Finnmaiden. With Toivo's help, Aino rises to the top of the world rankings. However, just before an important race, a disaster threatens their Olympic victory. The team's success rests once again on Toivo's shoulders, raising questions about his patriotism.
