Jeanne, a woman with a seemingly insatiable appetite for love, meets Olivier on a subway during an impromptu encounter. She feels a connection unlike any other and finds herself deeply in love. However, Olivier reveals to Jeanne that he has AIDS, which he contracted through heroin use. Despite this revelation, Jeanne's feelings remain unchanged, and she wants to care for him.
