The movie 'King David' (1985) chronicles the life of Israel's King David from his anointment to his reign and its subsequent challenges. Initially, Prophet Samuel, displeased with King Saul's disobedience, surprisingly anoints the youngest son of Jesse, teenage David, as the next king.
