Trama
In 1950s Los Angeles, three detectives—Ed Exley (Guy Pearce), Bud White (Russell Crowe), and Jack Vincennes (Kevin Spacey)—investigate a high-profile murder case involving the massacre of patrons at an all-night diner using shotguns. The investigation leads them down a path of corruption within the LAPD, involving movie studios, city officials, and organized crime. Each detective pursues their own angle and forms alliances with different players, including a district attorney, a call girl named Lynn Brack (Kim Basinger), and a ruthless gangster.
