Storia
Louis Mahe, a tobacco planter at Reunion Island, has been corresponding with Julie Roussel and is eagerly awaiting her arrival to marry him. When she arrives, Louis discovers that the woman he married is not Julie but Marion, who has posed as his intended. Despite this revelation, they marry, and Marion soon runs off with Louis' money.
