Storia
In rural England of 1555, mute young woman Patience lives with her brother-in-law and community leader, David. David's mental state is deteriorating due to the failure of his idyllic community. When he agrees to harbor an Egyptian family on their land in exchange for a fee, their presence unsettles David further. Meanwhile, Patience pursues an affair with one of the outsiders, which triggers a violent and vicious psychological battle with David.
