Storia
Set against Paris' oldest bridge, the Pont Neuf, during its closure for repairs, 'Les amants du Pont-Neuf' follows two young homeless people: Alex, a struggling circus performer addicted to alcohol and sedatives, and Michele, a painter who turned to the streets after a failed relationship and facing blindness. Along with Hans, an older vagrant, they survive on the streets using their wits. As Michele's vision deteriorates, she becomes increasingly dependent on Alex. Fearing her departure if she receives medical treatment, Alex attempts to keep Michele practically a prisoner.
