Trama
In 'Les filles du botaniste', Min Li, a young trainee botanist, finds herself living with An's father in a remote and beautiful setting. Initially treated badly by the few men they encounter, Min Li and An form a deep bond that evolves into an unspeakable love for each other. Their relationship blossoms amidst opiate-induced intoxication but is confronted by societal disapproval towards same-sex love, which was punishable by death at the time.
