Storia
Madrigal follows Javier, an actor who falls in love with Luisita. However, the nature of their relationship remains ambiguous as he struggles to discern where reality ends and his fictional narrative begins. Fifteen years later, Javier has transformed his story into a literary work that creatively recounts his tragic love affair.
Riassunto
Directed by Fernando Pérez, Madrigal is an esoteric drama that explores the blurred lines between reality and fiction through the life of Javier, a handsome actor who becomes involved with Luisita, an overweight woman. The film's second half transitions into a futuristic novel written by Javier, transforming Havana into a dark, noir-inspired playground.
