When washed-out filmmaker Charlie Green finally lands the greenlight for his magnum opus, a sweeping historical epic, he's ecstatic. But his producer, the formidable Victoria Hart, sees dollar signs in the form of erotic subplots. As creative tensions escalate between auteur and financier, Charlie fights to preserve his artistic vision amidst whispered suggestions of nudity and scandalous liaisons.
