Storia
In the midst of the Bosnian War, a sergeant in the UN peacekeeping force, named Johannes (played by Lars Mikkelsen), charges civilians to join him on a guided tour with a dark purpose: to hunt down and kill Serbs for 'the excitement of it'. The group, consisting of Johannes, his wife, and a handful of other volunteers, ventures into enemy territory. Along the way, they encounter various challenges and mishaps, including running out of fuel and being ambushed by Bosnian soldiers. Despite these obstacles, they continue their quest to find and eliminate Serbs. However, fatal events unfold, revealing the harsh realities of war and armed strife.
Riassunto
In the verdant fields of Denmark, Jacob, a young farmer, traded his plough for a rifle, joining the United Nations Brigade in Bosnia. Witnessing war's refugees fleeing their ravaged villages, he found solace in Sergeant Holt's cynical but steadfast presence. Meanwhile, another sergeant offered cash-strapped locals a thrill-seekers' tour: hunting Serbs with impunity. As bullets echoed through the shattered landscape, the tour spiraled into tragedy, revealing war's brutal reality.
