Storia
After their father's death, brothers Matt and Mike Anderson struggle with grief and differing worldviews. Matt, a philosophical dreamer who finds solace in conversation with a Cuban vagrant he believes to be Jesus, takes a job as a lifeguard while Mike pursues his career in advertising. When Matt meets Natalie, Mike's girlfriend whom he himself has started tutoring privately, they are drawn to each other romantically despite Matt's hesitation due to his brotherly bond with Mike. Meanwhile, Matt experiences recurring nightmares of near-drowning. When it seems that a young boy named T.J., who both Matt and Natalie have been trying to help, has drowned while in Matt's care, Matt's guilt and emotional turmoil intensify.
