Storia
In 1978, friends Juliano and Joaquim embark on a journey from Rio de Janeiro to the Amazon Rainforest in search of wealth and fortune at the Serra Pelada mine. As they dive into mining life, their hopes and illusions are tested by the harsh realities and greed that permeate the camp. Juliano becomes involved with gangsters while Joaquim abandons his values, leading to a tragic fallout between them.
