Storia
Sanela, a Montenegrin woman of Muslim background, left the former Yugoslavia in the 1990s after her father was kidnapped and killed alongside other Muslims during the wars. After twenty years abroad, she returns to the Balkans, having betrayed her origins and erased her own culture to become a 'true Westerner'. Upon returning, she grapples with her past, the changes in her homeland, and her true identity.
