Storia
True Detective follows Louisiana State Police Detectives Rust Cohle and Martin Hart through two timelines: in 1995 they investigate a ritualistic murder as partners, while in 2012 they are separately interrogated about a new homicide case that seems connected to their past. As the detectives recall their earlier investigation, it becomes clear that they had not solved the case and were unaware of its true nature at the time. The interrogation brings up old wounds and reveals secrets from both men's personal and professional lives.
Riassunto
True Detective is an anthology series focused on police detectives, with each season telling a standalone story. The first season stars Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson as Rust Cohle and Martin Hart respectively. It explores themes of morality, corruption, and the struggle between good and evil, as seen through the eyes of two former detectives reopening a decades-old case that haunts them both.
