Richard Muir (Colin Friel), an ex-journalist turned rock promoter, finds himself torn between his ambitious mistress Carla (Helen Mutkins) and his vivacious wife Catherine 'Kate' McClements. Kate wants to have a baby while Carla wants Richard all to herself.
