Storia
The film 'Wide Sargasso Sea' begins in Jamaica post-emancipation, where French colonist Annette Cosway marries Englishman Paul Mason despite his racist views. Their union produces a daughter, Antoinette. However, after their son dies in a fire allegedly started by former slaves, Mason leaves Annette and Antoinette behind to return to England. Antoinette, now determined to secure her inheritance, sets her sights on marrying an Englishman named Rochester, whom she finds eerily similar to Mason.
