Storia

In 1971, a young woman moves from the French countryside to Paris and begins a passionate love affair with a feminist leader.

Riassunto

In the grimy 80s, Sang-ho finds himself a wanted man, his youthful activism now marked by relentless pursuit from authorities. He flees to an unfamiliar town, holing up in a dilapidated wooden house's second floor. Days stretch into monotony until he stumbles upon a hole in the ceiling, offering a glimpse into the room below. Through it, he sees her - a woman whose every movement is captivating, seductive even. Guilt initially keeps him away, but soon he's drawn to the hole, watching her, feeling her presence, letting her inhabit his thoughts.

She too lives imprisoned, her husband locking her in each morning before leaving for work. One day, Sang-ho witnesses Tae-yeol drop his keys en route. An idea sparks, igniting a silent connection between them, a shared desperation echoing through the walls of their confinement. Summer's heat bears down, intensifying their longing, as Sang-ho watches her, and she, perhaps sensing him, performs her days like ballet for an unseen audience.
