Jennifer Lynn Connelly, born December 12, 1970, began her acting career as a child model before debuting in 'Once Upon a Time in America' (1984). She appeared in various films like 'Phenomena', 'Labyrinth', and 'The Rocketeer'. Her performance in 'Dark City' (1998) and role of a drug addict in 'Requiem for a Dream' (2000) were particularly notable. Connelly has been an Amnesty International Ambassador, a fashion icon for brands like Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton, and recognized as one of the world's most beautiful women by magazines.

Storia
Once Upon a Time in America follows David 'Noodles' Aaronson, a former Jewish gangster who returns to the Lower East Side of Manhattan after being away for over three decades. Noodles had left his childhood friends and partners-in-crime, Max, Patsy, and Cockeye, behind during their rise to prominence in New York's Prohibition-era. Upon his return, Noodles reunites with his only living friend, Fat Moe, but is haunted by his past and the content of a mysterious leather suitcase. The film explores Noodles' quest for closure, interweaving flashbacks of his life with his friends, their crimes, and the eventual betrayal that led to his exile.
