Nina Hartley, born Marie Louise Hartman on March 11, 1959, began her career in adult films in 1984 and worked consistently until 2021. She won multiple awards throughout her career, including Best Actress at the AVN Awards in 1987 and several others for acting and specialty categories up to 2019. Notably, she was inducted into both the AVN and Urban X Halls of Fame.

Set in 1970s Los Angeles, 'Boogie Nights' follows the rise and fall of Eddie Adams, a young man discovered by pornographer Jack Horner while working as a busboy at a nightclub.
