Storia

Valére is close with her French grandmother Marie Tasso and decides to start writing a diary about her life experiences at Marie's suggestion. Valère recalls her promiscuous past, beginning from when she first had sex at age 15. After losing her job due to downsizing and learning of Marie's death, Valère seeks new employment. During an interview with executive Jaime, she falls in love but soon discovers he is not satisfying in bed. They move in together, and Valère believes she has found the man of her life until she becomes pregnant and Jaime refuses to recognize the baby as his own.

Riassunto

Diario de una ninfómana (2008) directed by Christian Molina is a drama-romance film centered around Valére, a woman reflecting on her promiscuous past while navigating present challenges. The movie explores themes of love, sexual freedom, and personal growth as Valère confronts her experiences through writing a diary, reminiscent of Belle de Jour (1967). It also touches upon the complexities of relationships and acceptance.
