At 18 Bonnie was accepted into NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Art) packing up her life in country Tasmania and moving to Sydney. After graduating Bonnie's acting career began in TV, playing the role of Chadara in Starz Network's Spartacus; Blood and Sand. When she landed Ricky Sharpe in 2012, in Home & Away, Bonnie became a household name and went on to receive the Logie Award in 2014 for 'Most Popular New Talent'. After wrapping up her journey in Summer Bay, Bonnie played Layla in two seasons of 7 Network's The Secret Daughter. In 2018 she was in Aussie war flick, Escape and Evasion (Netflix Aus & NZ) playing relentless journalist and grieving twin Rebecca Stansbury. Bonnie has twin girls and is an ambassador for Save the Tassie Devil Appeal and IFAW Australia. She has been a Director and Board Member for Friends of Bonorong since 2020. Bonnie is also an artist, a writer and a filmmaker - her short film Riley premiered at the Far South Film Festival 2023 and has won awards and been selected in festivals in Prague, Cannes, Buenos Aires, Abruzzo and Scotland.

Storia
The series 'Spartacus: Vengeance' begins with Spartacus, a Thracian warrior, betrayed by Roman ally Claudius Glaber and condemned to death as a gladiator. However, his exceptional skills in combat capture the attention of Senator Albinius who commutes his sentence to life slavery. Purchased by gladiatorial trainer Batiatus for training, Spartacus agrees to fight for his new master in exchange for help finding his enslaved wife Sura. As Spartacus proves himself in the arena and earns fame among the crowds, he becomes a political pawn in the power struggles of Rome. Meanwhile, his friendship with fellow gladiator Crixus deepens as they both yearn for freedom from their captors.
