Storia

In 'Ha-gan', an elderly man tends to his garden in rural Japan when a young woman appears suddenly, naked and disoriented. The old man mistakes her for a divine being due to her ethereal appearance and takes her into his home. The remainder of the film focuses on their interaction as she recovers from whatever trauma brought her there, and he cares for her.

Riassunto

'Ha-gan', directed by Victor Nord in 1977, is a Drama film set in rural Japan amidst encroaching urbanization. The plot revolves around an elderly gardener who encounters a young woman believed to be a victim of sexual assault and mistook for an angel due to her disheveled yet serene state. While the sources do not provide extensive details about the themes or significance of the film, it can be inferred that 'Ha-gan' explores human connection, empathy, and possibly redemption through care and compassion in the face of traumatic events.
