Eddie Shneider, a successful advertising executive engaged to his boss's daughter Judy Birk, has an affair with their neighbor. After celebrating his promotion with his assistant Angelina Sable at a lunch party, they return to the garage where Angelina realizes she forgot her keys. When she goes back upstairs, she is raped by Anthony Birk, Judy's brother and Eddie's future brother-in-law. The next morning, Eddie finds Angelina traumatized in the garage and takes her to the hospital. Anthony blackmails Eddie with pictures of his infidelities, forcing him to choose between his career and engagement, and his loyalty to Angelina. To protect himself and his upcoming marriage, Eddie gives a false alibi for Anthony, helping him avoid accusation for the rape. However, this action triggers a brutal revenge from Angelina, who seeks justice for herself.
