Storia
The White Princess series follows the life of Elizabeth of York, daughter of the 'White Queen', and her marriage to King Henry VII after his victory in the Wars of the Roses. Despite their union being meant to unite England, their personal relationship and political views are deeply divided, threatening to reignite the war that had recently ended.
Riassunto
Adapted from Philippa Gregory's best-selling novel, 'The White Princess' is a historical drama set in 15th century England during the aftermath of the Wars of the Roses. The miniseries focuses on Elizabeth of York, the daughter of the 'White Queen', and her marriage to King Henry VII following his victory over the House of York. While their union signifies a supposed peace between the warring houses of Lancaster and York, underlying tensions and differing political views between Elizabeth and Henry risk tearing apart the kingdom once again.
