Successful architect Robert has a one-night stand with a mysterious woman dressed in red. The following day, they encounter each other again, but Carolin, now introduced as a corporate lawyer, seems to have no recollection of their previous night together. Despite her apparent amnesia, she is working on a major contract for Robert's firm. As their professional relationship develops, Robert becomes increasingly drawn into the dark and troubled world of Carolin and her family.
