Get Shorty follows Miles Daly, a mob muscle from Nevada who seeks to transition into the movie business as a way to launder money for his crime ring. He enlists the help of washed-up filmmaker Rick Moreweather to create a Hollywood film that will serve as a front for his illegal activities.
Riassunto
Get Shorty is a comedy series based on Elmore Leonard's 1990 New York Times bestselling novel of the same name. The story revolves around Miles Daly, a mob enforcer from Nevada who decides to enter the movie industry in Los Angeles as a means to launder money for his criminal associates. He partners with Rick Moreweather, a once-successful filmmaker now struggling with substance abuse and personal demons.
