Melina Matthews is an actress known for her roles in international productions including The Room Next Door by Pedro Almodóvar, More the Merrier, Black Beach, and Rodrigo Sorogoyen's upcoming El Ser Querido. She also starred in The Masterpiece, which won the Short Film Grand Jury Prize at Sundance 2024, and has appeared in series such as The Plague, Iron Reign, Warrior Nun, A Town Called Malice, and the recent global hit Olympo. Born and raised in Barcelona to a Welsh father and French mother of Spanish descent, Matthews studied journalism at the University of Westminster before turning to acting. She is fluent in Spanish, English, French and Catalan.
