Riassunto
Sister of the Groom is a comedic drama centered around a Jewish family's wedding weekend in the Hamptons. The story focuses on Audrey, who struggles with turning 40 and disapproves of her brother's impending marriage to a younger French woman. Despite their cultural differences, the two women must learn to connect and understand each other amidst the wedding preparations. Director Amy Miller Gross explores themes of family dynamics, acceptance, and letting go, set against the backdrop of a Long Island Shabbat celebration.
