Riassunto
'Welcome to Iceland' (2016), directed by Felix Tissi, is an offbeat drama that blends comedy with poignant moments of reflection on life's absurdities. Set amidst the breathtaking yet desolate Icelandic highlands, the film follows a diverse cast of characters whose lives intersect due to a series of unexpected events. The movie explores themes of love, loss, and suicide through its ensemble of misfits, using the vast, empty landscape as a metaphor for their inner turmoil. Despite its somber subject matter, 'Welcome to Iceland' offers moments of laughter and levity, making it an unusual yet compelling watch.
