Storia
Etienne, barely twenty when he falls in love with Valérie, becomes a single father after she leaves him and their daughter Rosa. Sixteen years later, Rosa is ready to embark on her own life, but Etienne struggles with the idea of letting go. When Etienne sees Valérie on television, his past resurfaces and forces him to confront his feelings about Valérie's abandonment. In an attempt to reconcile with his own history, he takes Rosa on a chaotic journey, disrupting her plans for independence.
Riassunto
La fille de son père is a French comedy-drama directed by Erwan Le Duc in 2023. The film centers around Etienne, a devoted single father who raised his daughter Rosa after Valérie, his wife and Rosa's mother, left them without explanation sixteen years ago. When Rosa reaches teenagerhood and prepares to move out, Etienne struggles with letting go.
