Biografia completa

Alice Keohavong is an American-born Australian actress of Laotian descent, best known for her breakout role as Mali in the critically acclaimed film The Rocket (2013). She was born in Seattle, Washington, after her parents fled Laos following the communist takeover in 1975. While her exact birth date is not publicly listed in standard filmographies, she was reported to be 26 years old in August 2013, suggesting a birth year around 1986 or 1987. Shortly after her birth in the United States, her family relocated to Australia, where she grew up in the Liverpool suburb of South-Western Sydney surrounded by a close-knit Laotian community. Keohavong developed her passion for performance early on, studying drama at Cecil Hills High School before earning a Bachelor of Creative Arts in Performance and English Literatures from the University of Wollongong in 2008. Before her film success, she worked extensively as a puppeteer and educator for children. In addition to her film work, she has appeared in television series such as Pine Gap and All Saints.
