Pollyanna McIntosh, born in Scotland but raised between Portugal and Colombia before returning to her birthplace, began her career in theatre at The Edinburgh Festival at age 16. She moved to London and became involved in indie filmmaking ('The Acid House', 1998) and theatre, later directing notable actors such as Anne Dudek and David Dayan Fisher in productions like 'The Woolgatherer'.
