Aida Vargas starred in 'Die Liebesbriefe einer portugiesischen Nonne' (1977). The film portrays Maria, a 16-year-old girl forced into a convent secretly run by Satanists. She suffers torture and sexual abuse, with her confessor colluding with the Mother Superior. Despite writing letters to God and being rescued by a knight, she is later put on trial and condemned to death by the Inquisition.
