Alessandra Izzo starred as Giulia in 'Desiderando Giulia' (1986). The story revolves around Emilio, a writer who meets Giulia mysteriously and they begin dating. Despite her rejecting him initially, they eventually start a relationship but Giulia's disordered life causes complications. Emilio tries to help her change but fails, leading his sister Amalia to commit suicide due to isolation caused by Emilio's continued absence.
